God so loved the world he gave his only son, so who should ever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Everyday Matters Bible For Women

As a child of God you need the right Bible, one you can easily comprehend. Like me, I don't understand some of the Bible, but if you can find a Bible that just states the words plainly, I'll get it a lot better. One book of the Bible I don't understand is Revelations, but I looked it up in the Everyday Matters Bible For Women and I understood it perfectly. I think this is the Best Bible by far.
Here is an example: 1The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. 2He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me by peaceful streams. 3He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Psalms 23:1-3
There are many great things in this Bible besides Gods Word.

  • Everyday profiles of 25 different Biblical women who has faced many of the same challenges we face today.
  • Everyday Reflections that show how to apply God's Word to your own life.
  • Everyday practical answers to important questions of Faith.
  • Everyday Spiritual Articles that focus on a key part of understanding or using a spiritual practice.
There are also more than three hundred articles and features by more than 140 of today's well known Christian leaders and writers, including Kay Warren, Priscilla Shirer, Elisa Morgan, Nancy and John Ortberg, Richard Foster, Liz Curtis Higgs, and Lauren Winner.
I think my favorite part is the profiles of the Biblical women. I love learning about the different women of the Bible, so the Everyday Bible is perfect. You can find out more information here. Don't forget to follow them on Twitter and Facebook.

Sonrise Stables Book 1: Rosie and Scamper

5 stars

Who could resist reading this book with those adorable girls riding on majestic horses? I know I couldn't. I already knew I would love reading this the minute I seen it. It's about God, Horses, and Friendship. Three of my favorite things. The main characters are Grandma, Rosie, and Carrie. Who all love each other and only want the best for one  another. Rosie is an only child wanting nothing more than to learn everything she can about horses. Carrie on the other hand is a misunderstood foster child just wanting to be left alone. Grandma tries to bring these two seemingly different girls together by teaching them and showing them her own love for horses.
I think the main thing I love about this book is how Rosie and Carrie began by disliking each other and by the end being friends who love each other like sisters and how bible stories are incorporated into the story. I believe the main highlight of the book is Carrie getting saved at Cousins Camp. Getting saved is sometimes hard to understand and believe me I know that feeling. Haveing thoughts of what is going to happen to you and not knowing what to do to fix it. Luckily,Carrie has nothing to worry about with all she has happening, she is going to have all the help she can get.

A Little About The Author:
Vicki Watson's love for horses began when a teenage neighbor offered her a ride, on the back of her horses. From her 8-year- old perspective, it seemed like the biggest horse in the world. Horses were to become a very important part of her life, although she could never have imagined it at the time, how much God would teach her about Himself about Himself and his relationship to Him through these wonderful animals. She has been blessed with three daughters and homeschooled each of them through High School. She enjoys trail riding with her Rocky Mountain mare (Nikki) hiking, photography, and playing guitar. She works from home as a computer programmer and enjoys the variety and flexibility that it allows. If you would like to learn more about her other books at http://www.sonrisestable.com/. Oh and don't forget to look at the jewelry inspired by the books, while your there.
