The Red Coats Are Coming! Review

About The Book:
18229707 The first of a three-book story arc about the American Revolution, "The Redcoats Are Coming" follows Patrick and Beth as they assist the revolutionaries by waking up the sleeping citizens of 1775 Concord before the Redcoats come. In this adventure, the cousins meet Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, and John Hancock. They help smuggle musket balls, sound the alarm that the Redcoats are coming, and deliver a secret message to Paul Revere. Along the way they learn that most of the revolutionaries leaned on God's direction and even pastors helped in the cause.Christian parents and teachers will appreciate the historical facts as well as the biblical worldview training their kids and students will absorb. The kids will appreciate the excitement and tension of an America at war with England, and in some ways, with itself. A curriculum for Christian schools and homeschool families will be available
My Review:
The Redcoats are coming! The Redcoats are coming! His voice and those individuals that supported his cause rang out in the night. The Patriots were a group of strong, courageous individuals that supported their right to something bigger and were willing to fight for it, no matter the cost.
We have all heard the story of Paul Revere and his cause. He was a very courageous man. He and many others secretly planned to fight because what choice did they have, really? Adventures in Odyssey has created a very well adapted series entitled The Imagination Station. This series  of Books goes along the same lines an the Magic Tree House series only if you know anything about AIO you know it's christian based.
Your children will get a good dose of history with God being in the center of it all. The Redcoats are coming  tells about Paul Revere and his famous Midnight ride. Causing Beth and Patrick to go back in time and meet many famous people that they have only read about. Paul Revere and John Hanncock to name a few.
Beth and Patrick are actually seated there by Mr. Whit to deliver a letter to the famous Paul Revere, but they get sidetracked.
At the end of each book you are given a hint of what's to come in the next book. The ending of this book finds us in a boat , I wonder where we will go in our nest adventure.
