Sprirtually Stronger in 40 days Review

Sam scale of 0 to 5 stars… 5 Star Book

About The Book:
"Spiritually stronger in 40 days!" contains a 40-day plan that is so powerful, yet so simple, that everybody can go through it. Big achievements are always accomplished little by little. The world is changed one life at a time.

Authors often complete their books by writing a couple of pages each day. People sustainably lose weight by eating every day a little less calories and doing a little bit more exercise. Big projects are successfully implemented by tackling one smaller milestone at a time. The same is true when it comes to living in abundance.

The forty-day plan will help readers make real progress towards that goal. Furthermore, thanks to the Holy Spirit who will accompany them during this crucial period, convict them at times, strengthen them and give them key revelations, they will be supernaturally changed in key areas by the end of the 40-day plan period. This will increase their faith tremendously and enable them to go through other growth plans that God inevitably has in mind for them.
My Review:
Being a child of God is not always easy, so sometimes you will need a little help. Mr. Serge Roux-Levrat has written a wonderful book to help all Christians young and old. He shows us a much simpler way to grow closer to God. Spiritually Stronger in 40 days has different devotions to read everyday, which include:
  • WHAT IS TRUE LOVE?
  • BEWARE: NOT ALL CHRISTIANS WILL GO TO HEAVEN!
  • YOUR BEST LIFE IS IN FRONT OF YOU, NOT BEHIND!
  • REST IN PEACE - WHEN ONE DOOR GETS CLOSED, ANOTHER ONE WILL OPEN
I loved reading the one called WHAT IS TRUE LOVE? Sometimes we need to ask ourselves WHAT IS TRUE LOVE? Is it something that we have to do? What is true love and why is it so important? True Love is what God has, what he gives.

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. 6 It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.       1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NLT)
As Paul wrote 7 Love never gives up... endures through every circumstance, are we like that? Do we truly Love like God does? I know I don't, what about you? When you have made me mad I'll still remember and hate you for that. But luckily God's not like that, he is totally different. He loves us no matter what we do. No matter how many times we wonder away. And I'm for that I'm very grateful.
Spiritual Stronger will explain all  of this and more. You can purchase this ebook/kindle book on amazon.
 About The Author:

"By many world criteria, Serge Roux-Levrat had a very successful start in life. He was born in Bourgoin-Jallieu, France, to a middle-class family, where he received love and sound principles. He had a privileged education, including an Actuarial Degree from the “Institut de Science Financière et d’Assurances” of the University of Lyons, and an MBA from the University of Edinburgh Business School. He also completed the General Manager Program of the Harvard Business School. In 1995, he married his wife, Barbara, and they procreated two children. Throughout his career, he was able to work for some of the world's most admired companies, and at the age of 37 he realized a life-long ambition: to become CEO of a publicly quoted company. In this capacity, he had the privilege of joining the world elite at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in 2001. By all appearances, his life was great. Internally, however, he was restless and unhappy, and was searching for the true meaning of life. He sought success by climbing the corporate ladder, but slowly realized that success did not equal joy or peace or purpose; and he felt guilty not to be happy when life had dealt him such a good hand of cards compared to millions of other people. In 2001, all this was to change: in one day his world was turned upside down when he lost his coveted job as CEO. What followed was a seven-year period of soul-searching in what he calls "God's detoxification clinic." Here, he found Jesus - not a religion, not a set of rules to follow, not an ideology, not a philosophy, but a real person, alive, loving, and all-powerful. Here, he learned to put his trust and sense of security only in God - not in money, not in social standing, and not in professional success. Here, the unconditional, unfaltering love of God changed his whole life, mindset, and priorities. As a result, he has responded to God’s calling to serve as Ambassador of Jesus Christ and to work, together with the body of Christ, towards a Christian revival in Europe. He operates through SRL Ministries."

Neglected But Undefeated Review

 About The Book:
This book is surprising, Dramatic, unbelievable heartbreaking expressions said and done. One young man going through trials and tribulations, feeling unloved, unwanted, never needed, and unexpected, from a lady that he had finally understood was his true mother. The one he was told loved him the most in the world no matter what she does and says to him. Growing up and feeling like there was and cannot be any future and purpose for him because he felt and was being told that he could die any day to come. For reasons of that he couldn't control his feelings and seizures that were occurring because of the hatred he felt towards him from the one that loved him the most in this world.

My Review:

The author helps to show us that sometimes we don't have it as bad as we think. Jonathan's life was very upsetting. It made me feel bad that he never really knew what it's like to have a mother's love. A mother's love is something you can't get from anywhere else. But Jonathan shows us that you do not need a mother's love to grow. Whether that physical, spiritually, or mentally. Jonathan's life may have been different from many people's but he still succeeded in the end. He knows God and that's all he really needs.
The author's life reminded me of the life of a friend of mine. My friend, Jessica has a mom is a lot like Jonathan's. Jessica doesn't understand why her mom is always so hateful and unloving towards her. Jessica  has a younger brother but he is not treated as badly as she is.  I've been praying for Jessica a lot lately and  I hope that she will soon be able to forgive her mother and move on. I can't wait to give this book to Jessica and I hope she will feel comforted that she's not the only one that feels alone.
This book will let everyone know that God will be with them through it all and that God loves them more then any mother could.

Simple Things: An Anthology of Poetry Review

About The Book:
This book is a voyage of self-awareness...the sad times, the glad times, and those times that lie in-between. Love, Gratitude, Hope and Inspiration will be explored. You will see how a tremendous joy, and a sense of self - discovery can appear out of sadness.
We are - not that much different...you and I, we each hunger - to see... the love - in another's eyes. I hope to share some of the love, of Jesus Christ, a selfless love, that changes lives. In my view...it is only in - "The struggle"...that the best in life is found. This anthology - has no beginning and no end. We are more the same than different and we all share many similarities. The one thing - that we do not do...is to see the world, with exactly the same bank of knowledge, experience and attitudes. You can purchase Simple Things at this link.

My Review:
Basket flower,Mr. Fletcher has written a golden nugget of encouragement in his recent book Simple Things. Looking through Simple Things you will begin to relize it isn't just another book of poetry. Fetaured inside are several different poems broken down into groups.
And those topics included:
  • God's Love
  • Gratitude
  • Hope
  • Inspiration
  • Special Loves
  • Tuesday is for Grinning
  • Personal Struggles
Reading thruogh Simple Things I was immediatly drawn to several different poems. But I believe my favorite one was The Lord's Prayer. I really liked it because it describes what God is like and how we should do in our Christian walk. The Lord's Prayer makes me think of what I should be like and how I should change. It also reminds me that God is the only way we will make it in this life. And without him, we have nothing.

Charles Preston Fletcher

Mr. Fletcher's anthology of,Christian based, poetry is a personal voyage of self-awareness...the sad time, the glad times, and those times that lie in-between. Mr.Fletcher explores Love, Gratitude, Hope and Inspiration in his writings and
the author shows how a tremendous joy, and a sense of self-discovery can appear out of sadness.
This first anthology of poetry has no beginning and not end. The journey of self-discovery can be frightening, exhilerating, confusing, liberating, and often best undertakenaccompanied by a careing voice. Preston's poetry shiningly serves as such a voice for all who wish to begin a journey of their own.
